Made it last night, and with resounding results. I too, experience the chalky aftertase a poster mentioned earlier - any tips on how to remove it? I suspect it may have to do with the quality of yogurt I used. However, my guests and my husband RAVED about it - thanks for sharing with us!

Eleana and Jenna - how odd. What brands of yogurt did you use? Was it low-fat, non-fat, full-fat?

This sounds absolutely delicious. If making ahead of time, would you recommend combining potatoes and dressing and then storing, or storing separately and dressing right before serving?

Thanks!

I tried this yesterday for my worklunch. Very nice tasting salad, will make this again. Thanks
Tanja

awesome recipe. Of course I didn't have all the ingredients, and don't mind garlic, so a little garlic, sweet onion, Greek Style yogurt, a pinch of hot sauce & pureed chipotles were the exceptions....turned out great. Such a pleasant variety to the egg/mayo or oil/red onion variety. Thanks!

Mine was nonfat (0% Fage) ... do I have to use full-fat? That's a good thought actually on the chalky taste

Eleana - Well, Fage is Greek yogurt, far too thick and dry for this recipe. You don't have to necessarily use whole-milk yogurt, but it should be regular, not Greek. I've made it with low-fat and whole-milk and both times it was delicious.

Ok! I'll definitely try it again - the horseradish and green onion combination (AND I added garlic) combination was awesome!

Emily - I'd cook the potatoes and make the dressing ahead of time, then dress just before serving.

mmm Thanks! Made this last night with seared steaks and with some greens it was a awesome. (I used fresh horseradish and my honey snuck over and grated a bunch more in, so it had some serious bite--which was welcome with the steak) You post the most interesting recipes, its always exciting.

I wonder how this would be with greek yogurt? It's much thicker and richer than Liberte, I think. (I'm going through a major greek yogurt thing - can anyone tell?) Has anyone tried it?

Another one for the recipe folder. Doubled the horseradish. Creamy and zingy. Yum!

Nice picture and recipe for potato salad. Here are some more suggestions: http://idahopotato.com/potato_salads?gclid=CJS3x_SKxKICFQMTawodllvB3A

This is mouthwatering. I love the yogurt. It's so much healthier than mayo. The horseradish addition is marvelous!

I made it without Greek yogurt and no more chalky taste! Thanks so much - it's amazing!
