Did you stay in Forest Hills or move somewhere else? As a new Forest Hills resident it was very reassuring to hear about a Manhattan refugee in FH. But I'm dying to know how it all played out...
Yay! Sadly now it's me stuck with phone photos - though mine at least is a 3.2 megapixel Cyber-Shot (I've got a little Sony Ericsson). Our friend borrowed a camera from us while visiting, and remembered to give back the camera when he left but not the charger and spare battery. Oops.
Glad to see your Nikon restored to full beauty and usefulness again!
I'm delighted for you! Look forward to new pictures. I, too, miss it when my camera isn't around. It's not that it isn't around exactly. It's just that I have to wait for my sweetheart to get home and use it. He has all the talent!
Good news!
I have been waiting for the pictures to return

Did you know your photo is reversed? The "Nikon" is a mirror image.

New pics, new place, new life! Your own renaissance.

I'll miss the dreamy polaroids, but it's nice to see you in sharp focus.

jcard21 - I took the photo in front of a mirror... :)
Carmen - why, sure! When I'm back.
Lauren - a D80 with a 50 mm lens.

Hip hip hooray! Welcome back little guy. And I agree with Carmen. Do we get to see any sneak peeks of your new kitchen?

I'm determined to buy a new lens for my Olympus e410 (no money for a new camera). Does the talent come along for free?

That explains it... I didn't know that was you in the photo, or maybe someone else took the photo of you.
Keep up the good work!

I'm curious about the painting or print on the wall behind you. It looks familiar but it's too rather far and blurred for me to be sure. Many thanks.

Della - the portrait is an oil painting by Melora Kuhn.
