Hi, I just found your blog a few days ago, and it's amazing. I made this tonight because I couldn't resist. However, I ended up with about a cup, maybe a cup and a half of (delicious) final product. Is that about right?

Brian - hmm, that does sound a little scant. I think we had about 2 cups. Maybe you didn't let the acid and milk combine long enough before pouring through the cheesecloth? Pouring it through too quickly could result in fewer curds, I suppose... But I'm glad you like the taste, in any case!

I just made this with fresh squeezed blood oranges and fresh squeezed lemons in a ratio of about 1:1. I'm not sure if it is close to the taste of seville oranges, but the combination was lovely. And, the color was wonderful!

I then used the leftovers in ricotta pancakes for breakfast. Yum!
