this turned out great! i even used instant yeast (1/3 tsp) instead of fresh and it still came out yummy. i added some red onion with the grape tomatoes but i think i will add even more next time (and there will be a next time). after making this recipe and sullivan's no knead bread successfully the past two weeks, i am feeling very confident about baking. thanks so much for the recipe!

Wonderful & full of flavor! I added goat cheese with chilled Pinot Grigio!

I followed the link here from last Wednesday's The Amateur Gourmet blog, and the focaccia looked so good I had to try it immediately.

And oh boy am I glad I did!

It turned out *wonderfully*, and my wife and kids were also quite pleased with it.

Of all of the breads I've tried, this is far and away my favorite!

Thanks so much for the recipe :)

OH MY! This bread was amazing. It looked amazing, and tasted amazing. Unfortunately I had to share, and it was finished with great gusto! ...and despite my vow to make 2 loaves the next time, I know that having 2 loaves still really won't make it last any longer!

I used 1/3 tsp instant yeast that I added straight to the flour, but it didn't rise very much for either of the 2 rises (I was in a hurry so I didn't have the luxury to let it rise for longer). However, it was still absolutely delicious and wasn't at all too dense.

YUM!

Thank you. Thank you. I made this and my husband and I died and went to heaven. It was so freakin' good.

This looks delicious!

I had to substitute a sweet potato for the Yukon Golds, and increased the yeast to a scant tablespoon, and the resulting focaccia was awesome!!!
