I also made these for Thanksgiving. Everyone was in agreement that these were the best brussel sprouts they had ever tasted.

Oooh ooh ooh! Another Thanksgiving table falls for hashed Brussels sprouts! We made them this year too - as always - but I used my usual version, with poppy seeds. Next time - which will probably be in only a few days - I'll have to try the lemon zest / mustard seed variety. Cabbage and mustard are VERY fine bedfellows indeed.

Hugs to you and Ben, and thank you for sharing a few hours of your post-holiday Sunday with us! xo

Most people hate brussel sprouts - I think they're great.

An English xmas dinner would not be the same without them!

Sounds pretty easy, real prep work done ahead of time. I don't see in recipe, do the sprouts and lemon juice go into the pan together - you don't drain that off right.

I have never heard of hashed brussel sprouts until this year. When I first heard the term, I thought it meant brussel sprouts with hash browned potatoes. Thanks for cluing me in. They sound great and look pretty, too.

Evan - weren't they good? I'm so glad we made them.

Molly - it was lovely to see you guys. You'll have to try the mustard version, it's got such good flavor.

Scott - I used to hate them as a child, but now I really can't get enough.

Tanna - the whole bowl goes in the pan together... there's not much liquid, to be honest.

Anne - well, that would taste pretty good, too. I'm glad I "clued" you in! You'll like these, I'm sure.
