The United States Congress is currently debating a law being pushed by lobbyists for large telephone companies (like AT&T and Verizon) and Internet service providers that would divide the Internet into two "lanes": a fast one for the large companies that would pay for the service and a slow one for everyone else (like me and every other blogger you read, not to mention millions of other sites).
If you think this is something that should be stopped, as I do, please go to Save The Internet and sign this petition. Speak to your friends and spread the word. If you'd like, call your senator(s) and representatives.
See this post and this one for more information (and wit).
