Ah, all the things I like. I love haricots verts, comme de chez moi! I will definitely try this recipe. I like my haricots verts long and thin. In spring, I just love des fagots de haricots verts!

I made this once, and probably won't have it again for a different reason -- I really liked the novelty of slightly frothy cream with the haricots verts, and the chives and red vinegar played nicely with each other. I liked it so much that I enough in one sitting to last a long time (and aggravate my stomach), so I have no desire to have it again.

Hmmm. I've been making these beans for several years now and each time has been a winner. The photo does suggest a bit of overkill on the cream.

I eat this beans for several years now.
