Yes, San marzano seeds are now avail. in America. We have a number of farms growing them in N. Ca.

I was wandering in the food blogosphere, and I came across your blog... and oh my, it looks just like mine! It's just a matter of design but it's really funny because we both started them end of August...

They can only be called "San Marzano-style" though, right?

Mr. Babylon - not sure what the answer to that is. I also thought they'd just be San Marzano-type or style, but if the seeds are available here... I'm sorry to read you're taking a break from the blog, but I'll happily await your next project.

Re Sicilian Pesto. I've just come home from a holiday in Sicily where we did have Sicilian pesto, so I was pleased to see this recipe. We also had pasta with a delicious pistachio sauce. Have you seen any recipes for that?
